Description
King's Bromley Manor remains, formerly listed as Tower in Manor Park, is a tower built around 1840. It is constructed of red brick in English bond with ashlar dressings and has a square plan. The tower rises four storeys and features rusticated corner pilasters, moulded storey bands, a modillion cornice, and a balustraded parapet adorned with vase finials at the corners. The ground floor has semi-circular arched recesses that contain smaller semi-circular arched windows. On the third stage, there is a circular keyed panel on the south face, which was likely a sundial originally. The fourth stage has 2-light windows with moulded and keyed semi-circular arches that spring from imposts. This tower is the only surviving part of King's Bromley Manor.
