Description
Ravensholt is a house that likely dates back to the 17th century. It features a timber-frame structure with plaster infill and plain tiled roofs. A large rendered external stone stack with a detached brick shaft is located at the front left. The house has one storey and an attic, with three bays arranged east to west.
On the north elevation, the external stack is a prominent feature, accompanied by two mid-20th century casement windows to the right. There are three late 20th century gabled dormers with casements, one to the left of the stack and two to its right. A mid-20th century lean-to entrance porch with a contemporary ledged door is situated to the right of the stack. The frame consists of two large panels extending from the cill to the wall-plate. The east gable includes struts from the corner posts to the tie-beam and V-struts above the collar.
