Description

This is a house, likely dating from the 17th century, with a plaque indicating 1648 from a later 20th-century addition. The house is timber-framed with brick and plaster infill, and has asbestos slate roofs. There are external stone and brick stacks on the north and east sides. The building is arranged in an L-shape, with the main range running east to west and a cross-wing at the east end. It is two storeys high, with two bays of windows overlapping in each range. The south elevation has a 1:1 window arrangement, featuring late 19th and mid-20th century casement windows of 2- and 3-lights. An entrance is sheltered by a circa 1900 lean-to porch with latticed detailing, located at the junction of the two ranges.
