Description
The Parsonage is likely a 17th-century farmhouse, with later alterations. It is constructed with a timber frame, with plaster and brick infill. The roof is slate, and a brick stack sits centrally. The building comprises a two-story, two-bay section aligned north/south, with a lower, one-bay section attached to the south. A high rubble plinth is visible on the south side.
The west elevation features three windows, mostly 2-light casements. A small stair light and a 3-light casement are positioned within the rubble plinth to the left of the entrance. A further 3-light casement sits to the right. A 4-panelled door, added in the mid-20th century, is sheltered by an early 20th-century gabled porch.
An 18th-century (?), timber-framed granary extension projects to the north, including a tallet (garret) staircase. The framing is three panels high in the main part, and two panels high above the plinth to the south gable. The east elevation is partially hidden by a long, mid-20th century lean-to verandah with a pantiled roof.
