Description
Notts House is a house that likely dates from the late 17th century to the early 18th century. It features a timber frame with brick and plaster infill and a slate roof. There is a local type external stone stack with a detached brick shaft to the west and a brick stack to the east. The building has two storeys and two bays that are aligned east to west.
On the south elevation, there are early 20th century two-light casement windows, and the entrance is located to the right of the centre, with a gabled mid-20th century porch. The frame consists of two panels above a ground floor that has been rebuilt in brick, and the posts are supported by angle braces. There are catslide extensions to the front and rear of the external stone stack. This building is included for its group value.
