Description

Estate Cottages, a pair of semi-detached cottages, were built in the mid-19th century. They are constructed from coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and red brick dressings, topped with a pantile roof featuring a central brick ridge stack that has four grouped shafts. The cottages are two stories high with a four-bay front, which includes a chamfered plinth and a brick eaves course. On either side of the front are planked doors with decorated tops set in wooden surrounds. In the center, there are two two-light glazing bar casements, while the first floor features a pair of smaller windows of the same style. All openings are adorned with chamfered wooden lintels and brick hood moulds.
