DENTON CHURCH STREET SK 8632-8732 (north side) 10/52 Estate Cottage No. 120 (Pear Tree Cottage) 21.9.79 G.V. II Cottage. C17, altered mid C19. Coursed ironstone rubble with brick right hand side wall and dressings, steeply pitched pantile roof having 2 brick gable stacks. Single storey with attics, 3 bay front having off-centre planked door with to right single 2 light and 3 light glazing bar casement windows. All openings have chamfered wooden lintels and brick hood moulds. The gabled dormers contain 2 light glazing bar casements and have boarded cheeks. Included for group value only.
