DENTON CHURCH STREET SK 8632-8732 (south side) 10/47 Churchyard wall and gate piers, east of Church of St.Andrew 21.9.79 G.V. II Pair of gates and gate piers. Mid C19. Ashlar and cast iron. Pair of square ashlar gate piers with hipped coped tops flanking a pair of cast iron gates with diagonal bracing to lower panels and arch bracing to upper panels, spear head railings. The piers support a pointed arched overthrow with circles set between the pair of twisted outer rails.
