Description

The churchyard wall and gate piers located east of the Church of St. Andrew were built in the mid-19th century. They are made of ashlar and cast iron. The structure features a pair of square ashlar gate piers topped with hipped coped caps, which flank a pair of cast iron gates. The gates have diagonal bracing in the lower panels and arch bracing in the upper panels, along with spear head railings. The piers also support a pointed arched overthrow that has circles positioned between the twisted outer rails.
