Description

The gateway and railings to the churchyard of the Church of St. Andrew were built in 1866. They are made of ashlar stone, wrought and cast iron, and timber. The structure features a pair of wooden gates topped with wrought iron spearheads, which are flanked by square ashlar piers. These piers have stopped and chamfered sides and sit on tall bases with a bell moulding, a cornice, and an embattled parapet. Curved screen walls that end in similar piers support cast iron side screens adorned with spear finials.
