Description

A row of three cottages located on Corby Road, Irnham, dating to the 17th century with alterations made in the early 19th century. The cottages are constructed of squared limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings. The roof is covered with plain tiles and features a single raised stone coped gable, along with a single moulded stone ridge stack. The cottages are arranged as a single storey with attics, presenting a 7-bay front. The left side features a single 6-panelled door, followed by three two-light glazing bar casement windows to the right. Two more windows and a further planked door are also present. All openings are topped with chamfered timber lintels. Four gabled dormers are visible at eaves level, each containing a two-light casement and rendered cheeks. The interior includes a Stamford marble floor and some reused dado panelling.
