Description
Nos. 89 and 90 on Main Street are a pair of estate cottages built in the mid-19th century. They are constructed from coursed ironstone rubble, with brick and ashlar dressings, and feature a pantile roof with a central brick chimney stack. The cottages are two stories high with a four-bay front that includes a plinth and a brick eaves course. On either side of the front are planked doors with ribbed styles and Tudor arches. In the center, there are two two-light glazing bar casements, and on the first floor, there are two similar smaller windows. All openings have chamfered wooden lintels and brick hood moulds. Above the doors, there are small rectangular stone panels that display a fleur de lys with a lozenge.
