Description

Nos. 11 and 12 on Main Street are a pair of mid-19th century cottages. They are constructed from banded brick and flint and feature a shallow pitched slate roof with a central brick chimney stack. The cottages are two storeys high and have a four-window range. The ground floor openings are topped with segmental brick arches, although some of these openings have been blocked. The ground floor windows include pointed lights with some coloured glass, while the other windows are casements with glazing bars. The outer bays have plank doors. There are outshuts on both the right and left sides. These cottages are part of a largely unspoilt group of estate cottages.
