Description
The stable block at Folly Barn, likely built in the early 19th century, serves as a stable and cart-shed. It features brick and flint banding and has a plain tile roof. The structure includes a small half-hipped block with an attached two-bay open-fronted shed. The stable has a central door flanked by one small and one larger casement window, all with segmental heads. The outer gable features a large door with a square head beneath a loading opening. This small unit is connected to Folly Barn by low flint and brick walls topped with rounded brick coping. It was formerly part of the Portman Estate and is now Crown Property.
