Description

The stable-block located 5 meters north of Durweston Farmhouse is a structure from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is built of brick in English bond, featuring some burnt headers, with new walls made of bonded flint, brick, and rubble. The building has a tiled roof and is a single storey with irregular window arrangements. It includes 2 and 5-light cast iron casements with glazing bars, most of which are set under segmental brick heads. There is a double garage door on the left and a stable door in the third bay from the left. Internally, some stalls remain. The stable-block has been partially converted into a garage.
