Description

A pair of cottages dating from the mid-19th century, located on Main Street. The cottages are constructed of banded brick and flint, with a shallow pitched slate roof and a central brick stack. They have two storeys and a four-window front. The ground floor windows have segmental brick arches, although some openings have been blocked. Upper floor windows to the right are casements incorporating decorative coloured glass. Other upper floor windows are two-light casements with glazing bars. The cottages have plank doors. Outshuts are situated to the right and left. They form part of a group of largely unspoiled estate cottages.
