Description
Corner Cottage and Rose Cottage are a pair of mid 19th century cottages located in Okeford Fitzpaine. They are constructed of brick, featuring rendered and flint and brick banded end walls. The cottages have a tiled, gable-ended roof with central and end brick stacks. They stand two storeys tall and have a four-window range. The windows are predominantly two-light casements with glazing bars, except for the ground floor left window of the right-hand cottage, which has a 20th-century two-light casement without glazing bars. The right-hand cottage features a gabled, tiled open porch with a part-glazed front door, while the left-hand cottage has what is likely its original flush panelled, part-glazed door. The openings are set under segmental brick arches. These cottages are included in the listing for their group value.
