Description
The standing cross, located 140 meters northwest of St Andrew's Church, is believed to date from the 14th century. It is made of ashlar and has a square plan.
The cross features a chamfered plinth that is approximately 2.5 meters wide, though the south-west corner is less visible due to the rising ground. Above the plinth, there is a two-stepped base and a socket stone, while the shaft and head of the cross are missing. The socket stone is square at the base and chamfered above broach stops, transitioning to an octagonal section. The tenon of the cross-shaft remains lodged in a square mortice at the center of the socket stone. Additionally, there is a mid-20th century plaque on the north side of the base, although the inscription is no longer clearly legible.
