Description

The Old School House is a house dated 1837, constructed of coursed rubble with a slate roof featuring gable ends and an end stone stack. It has rubble and brick quoins and is two storeys high with a three-window range. The ground floor includes a wooden mullioned and transomed window alongside a 19th-century sash window, both of which have glazing bars. On the upper floor, there is a canted oriel window flanked by two-light casements that have horizontal glazing bars. The building is marked by a datestone that reads "CRH 1837".
