Description
Glebe Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that was raised and significantly altered around 1830, with some minor changes made in the 20th century. The building is constructed of coursed ironstone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins only on the upper floor and ashlar dressings. It has a pantile roof with three brick gable stacks and consists of parallel ranges. The front of the farmhouse is two stories high and has three bays, with a central 20th-century door flanked by single margin light sash windows. On the first floor, there are three similar windows, and all openings have plain ashlar lintels. To either side of the front, there are single-bay, single-storey extensions that were remodeled in the 20th century.
