Description

Nos. 5A and 6 on Main Road are a pair of cottages built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of red brick and feature a plain tile roof with a brick ridge stack. The cottages are two storeys high and have a brick dentil eaves cornice. The north elevation has three bays. No. 5A, located on the left, has an off-centre doorway with a segment head, a panelled door, and an overlight. This doorway is flanked by three-light wooden casement windows, also under segment heads. There are two similar windows above. No. 6 has a doorway with a segment head and a panelled door, with a two-light casement window under a segment head to the right. Above, there is a similar three-light window.
