Description

The Cottage is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of red brick with burnt brick headers and features a plain tile roof. The building has brick gable stacks that are shared with adjoining listed properties, along with brick coped gables that include plain kneelers. A chamfered plinth and a brick dentil eaves cornice add to its architectural detail. The north elevation has three bays, with a central doorway that has a flat arch. The door is panelled and includes an overlight. On either side of the doorway, there are 3-light wooden casement windows, also under flat arches. Above, there are two similar windows flanking a 2-light window.
