Description
Cray Cottage is a house dating from the mid-18th century and later. It is constructed of red brick with grey headers, featuring gauged window heads and a plat band. The roof is covered with old tiles and has end stacks. The building has two storeys and five bays, with glazing bar sash windows. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door with a rectangular overlight that has wrought iron decoration. The doorcase is adorned with Doric pilasters that support a triangular pediment, which slightly breaks forward at the centre. To the right, there is a single-storey 19th-century addition made of red brick, topped with a hipped tile roof and featuring a large cross window.
