Description
No. 3 Percy Street is a house that has been converted into an optician's shop. It dates from the late 18th century and has undergone some alterations in the late 20th century. The building is rendered and colourwashed, featuring ashlar dressings and a concrete tile roof with a single rendered gable stack. It has three storeys plus attics and a two-window range.
On the first floor, there are two 12-pane sash windows, and above those, two 6-pane sash windows, all of which have multi keystone lintels. At the top, there is a late 20th-century box dormer with a two-light casement window. The ground floor features a moulded round-arched doorcase with a keystone, a fielded six-panel door, and a fanlight to the left. To the right, there are two 12-pane sash windows.
