Description
No. 36 Bore Street is a house that has been converted into a shop. It dates from the late 18th century and has undergone some alterations in the 20th century. The building is constructed of brick and features a hipped tile roof with brick lateral stacks, following a right angle plan.
On the ground floor, there is a 20th-century shop front that is recessed behind a concrete beam supported by a brick pier. Above this, a timber lintel band runs along the first floor. The first-floor window consists of a tripartite sash with a configuration of 4:12:4 panes, while the right return has a narrow window with a horned sash. The second floor includes a window with a 2:6:2-pane sash and a smaller window with a 4-pane sash on the return side. Additionally, there is a rear gabled wing. This building is included for its group value with other nearby structures.
