Description
31 and 33 Bore Street is a shop building dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of painted brick and features a tile roof with a brick stack at one end. The building stands three stories high and has a three-window range. There is a brick platt band above the first floor and a top moulded brick cornice. The shop front is from the 20th century, and to the right, there is a round-headed entry with a tympanum above the door. The first floor has windows with plate glass horned sashes, while the second floor features square casement windows with two-light casements that have iron opening casements. At the rear, there is a gabled wing. Inside, the stair to the right has one flight with column-on-vase balusters, a moulded handrail, and a square newel with a ball finial. The upper winding stair retains some similar balusters.
