Description
29 Bore Street is a shop building dating from the late 18th century, featuring an earlier timber frame and a rear wing from the 18th or 19th century. The exterior is finished in stucco with a tiled roof and a prominent brick chimney stack running across the building. The front wing has a hipped roof and stands three storeys tall, with a single-window range. There is a lintel band at the first floor and a brick parapet at the top. The shop front was updated in the 20th century. The first floor contains a casement window, while the second floor features a small-paned, three-light horizontally sliding sash window. To the right, there is a rainwater head and downspout marked with the letter "A." Inside, the building has chamfered beams and joists, square framing, and an acanthus bracket supporting a cross-wall to the right.
