Description
No. 27 Bore Street is a shop that dates from the late 18th century, although it incorporates an earlier timber frame. The building is constructed of painted brick and features a tile roof with a brick stack at the end. It has a gabled front wing and stands three storeys tall, with a single-window range and a coped gable. The shop front was updated in the 20th century. The upper floors have segmental-headed windows; the first floor features a tall casement window, while the second floor has a three-light casement. There is a rainwater head and downspout located to the right. Inside, some of the square framing is exposed, along with wattle and daub, which the owner claims dates back to the 15th century.
