Description
No. 3 High Street is a shop that dates back to the 17th century, with some rebuilding in the early 19th century and alterations made in the 20th century. The building is constructed from colourwashed brick and has an old tile roof, featuring a large brick chimney stack with corner pilasters that has been rebuilt on the right side. It has an L-shaped plan and stands two storeys high with two bays. The ground floor has 20th-century shop windows, while the first floor features 20th-century three-light wooden casements with single horizontal glazing bars. The central entrance is a half-glazed door with a segmental head. Inside, the building has stop-chamfered spine beams and reveals timber framing in the upper storey.
