No. 27 Bird Street is a shop building dating from around 1800. It is constructed of painted brick and features a hipped tile roof. The building stands three storeys high and has a single-window range. At the top, there is a modillioned brick cornice. The late 19th-century shop front includes a round-headed entrance flanked by two round-headed lights on each side, supported by colonnettes, fluted pilaster strips, and a bracketed fascia. The upper floors are adorned with segmental-headed windows; the first floor has a twelve-pane sash window, while the second floor features a three-light casement window. Additionally, there are three scrolled lamp brackets on the facade.
