Description

No. 84 Wyle Cop is a shop that was likely originally a dwelling, built around 1800. The building is constructed of brick, and the roof is not visible due to a parapet. It has three storeys and a three-window range. The late 19th-century shop front features a recessed doorway flanked by single-pane windows, with a plain fascia supported by moulded console brackets. There is a doorway leading to a passage alongside the shop. The upper windows are 2-pane sashes with flat-arched gauged brick heads. The second storey has 12-pane sashes on either side of a blind central window. The eaves are finished with a plain parapet.
