Description

No. 76 Mardol is a shop that was possibly purpose built around 1800. It is constructed of brick, and the roof is not visible behind the parapet. The building has three storeys and a two-window range. The late 19th-century shop front features doors, one of which is now blocked, flanking an arched central window. Above the shop front, there is a continuous fascia with heavy console brackets at each end. The upper windows are 12-pane sashes with flat-arched gauged brick heads. There is a stuccoed string course and a parapet.
