Description

No. 9 High Street is a shop dating from around 1800. It is built of brick and has a roof that is not visible behind the parapet. The building has three storeys and a narrow two-window range. A late 20th-century shop front has been added, which includes an earlier fascia with moulded brackets. The upper windows are two-pane sashes, while the attic features smaller four-paned sashes, all with flat-arched gauged brick heads. The eaves have a high plain parapet. This building is included for its group value.
