Description
The Three Fishes Public House, originally a dwelling, dates from the late 15th century. It is a timber-framed building with a plain tiled roof, standing two storeys high and featuring a two-window range. The ground floor is rendered, with a doorway located to the right of centre and two inserted two-light casement windows with leaded lights on either side. The upper storey jetties out and displays exposed joist ends and close studding. A continuous band of fenestration is created by two three-light casement windows, and traces of an original window can be seen to the left. There is a parallel rear range that may have formerly been an open hall.
