Description

Nos. 5 and 6 Fish Street is a house that has been converted into a pair of shops. It dates from the early 18th century and may include parts of an earlier structure. The building is made of painted brick and has a plain tiled roof. It stands two storeys high with gabled attic dormers. The front features a four-window range, with two shop fronts added to the ground floor and four casement windows above, each with flat-arched rendered heads. The gables are coped and have a crow-stepped design. There is a wide stack on the right-hand gable and an additional stack on the left.
