Description
Nos. 58 and 60 High Street is a house that has been converted into two shops. It dates from the late 18th century and has undergone alterations in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is timber-framed and has a roughcast render finish. It features a 20th-century plain tiled roof with a coved eaves cornice. There is an original red brick ridge stack on the left side and an inserted gault brick stack on the right side. The structure has two storeys and attics, with an additional parallel range creating a double pile plan. The front has three shop windows and two doors. On the first floor, there are three horizontal sliding sash windows, and there are three dormer windows, two of which have hipped roofs while one has a flat roof, all featuring similar windows.
