Description

The Orchards is a house that may date back to the early 18th century, with some additions from the 19th century. It has a timber-framed structure that is plastered, featuring a 19th-century clay bat and a plastered plinth. The house has a steeply pitched plain tiled roof with end stacks, and the gable extensions have red pantiled roofs. It stands two storeys tall, with an open porch entrance on the left side. The ground floor includes four casement windows and one hung sash window, while the first floor has five casement windows and horizontal sliding sash windows.
