WITNEY CORN STREET SP3509N (North side) 10/115 Nos.86 and 88 06/02/70 GV II

House, now 2 shops and dwelling. Early C18. Coursed limestone rubble, with right gable clad in C20 brick; gabled stone slate roof; brick ridge stack. 3-unit outshut plan. 2 storeys and attic; 5-window range. Early C19 six-panelled door with bracketed flat hood; C20 shop window and timber lintel over C20 door to left. Timber lintels over late C19 two-light casements on first floor; small roof dormer. Bay to right: 2 gabled half dormers with late C19 casements above blocked carriageway opening with C20 door and shop window. C18 outshut and C20 extension to rear. Interior: central room has stop-chamfered bressumer over open fireplace. First floor has stop-chamfered beans and C16 chamfered pointed-arched fireplace. Collar-truss roof with butt purlins.
