Description

69 and 71 Corn Street are two houses built around 1830 to 1840. They are made of coursed limestone rubble with dressed quoins and dressings, topped by a hipped stone slate roof with stone ridge and end stacks. The houses have a double-depth plan and are two storeys high, featuring a four-window range. There are two four-panelled doors with overlights, each framed by a moulded wood architrave with console-brackets supporting a flat hood. The windows have flat stone arches above ten-pane sashes, with a late 19th-century two-pane sash on the right side. The left side wall also has two similar ten-pane sashes. The interior has not been inspected.
