Description

No. 4 Holyrood Street is a house that has been converted into a shop, dating from the early 18th century. The building is constructed of painted brick and features a painted stone cornice and a slate roof, with a brick stack on the right gable. It has a double-depth plan and stands three storeys tall with a single-window range. The first and second floors each have a pair of 19th-century horned 2/2-pane sash windows in the centre. The lower panes of the first-floor windows have been partially blocked to accommodate a late 19th-century shopfront. The interior has not been inspected.
