Description
No. 16 Holyrood Street is a house and shop built around 1830. It features a stucco exterior and a clay tile roof with a brick stack at the right gable end. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high with a two-window range, featuring 8/8-pane sash windows. The shop front, dating from around 1830, includes a later 19th-century four-panel glazed central door with an overlight, flanked by three-light plate-glass windows. Narrow reeded pilasters support a fascia with a reeded cornice. The entrance to the upper floor, located on the far left, is a six-panel door with an overlight, panelled reveals, and pilasters. The interior has not been inspected.
