Description
The Bath House Hotel, originally a house, is now a hotel and restaurant dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It features painted brick construction and a tarred slate roof, with stepped stone copings at the right gable end and brick stacks at both ends. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high with a three-window range. All the windows are 6/6-pane sashes, each with painted keystones and sills, although the central window is blind. On the ground floor, there are two 20th-century bow windows. The interior of the ground floor has been remodelled. The building is noted for its group value.
