Description

9 Holyrood Street is a house that has been converted into commercial premises. It dates from the 18th century and was altered in the 19th century. The building is finished in stucco with a slate roof and has a brick stack on the left gable end. It has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high with one window range. On the first floor, there is an early 19th-century eight-over-eight pane sash window. The entrance features a 19th-century four-panel door to the left, along with a shop front that has a central door and a moulded cornice above the fascia. Inside, some beams are exposed.
