Description

No. 18, Holyrood Street is an early 19th-century house and shop. The building is constructed of pebbledash with stucco dressings and has a clay tile roof. It follows a double-depth plan and presents a single-window range over two storeys. The first floor has an 8/8-pane sash window within a plain surround, featuring a vermiculated keystone. A late 19th-century shopfront is present, with a three-light plate-glass window in moulded frames, incorporating a transom at door height. Quoins are visible on the right-hand side of the first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
