Description

No. 3 Mardol is a shop building dating from around 1800, possibly refronting an earlier structure. It is constructed of brick and features a plain tiled roof. The building stands four storeys high and has a two-window range. A late 20th-century shop front has been inserted, and there is a low first floor followed by 12-pane sash windows with flat-arched brick heads, while the attic storey has six panes. The building has a plain parapet at the eaves, which partly conceals the steeply pitched roof of what may be an 18th-century structure.
