Description

No 4 Mardol is a shop, possibly purpose-built, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick with a roof that is not visible behind the parapet. The building has four storeys and features a two-window range. A late 20th-century shop front has been inserted, which incorporates an earlier fascia with moulded console brackets at each end. The upper windows are two-pane sashes set within moulded and lugged architraves, and there is a plain parapet at the eaves.
