Description
Numbers 9 and 10 on Mardol are a shop that may have originally been two dwellings, dating back to 1710. The building features stucco over brick and has a plain tiled roof. It stands three storeys high with attic dormers and has a three-window range. There is a late 20th-century shop front, with four-pane flush-framed sash windows set in moulded architraves that are spaced unevenly. Between the windows, there is a plastered circular panel displaying the date and the initials P over RA. The building has quoins only on the left-hand angle and a coved eaves cornice. Additionally, there are two gabled dormers in the roof.
