Description

No. 2 Shoplatch is a shop that was likely originally built as a dwelling in the late 18th century. The building is constructed of brick and features a plain tiled roof. It has four storeys and a two-window range, with an inserted shop front on the ground floor. Above the shop front, there are 12-pane sash windows with flat-arched gauged brick heads set in round-arched recesses. A sill band is present beneath the second-floor windows, and there is a wood modillion eaves cornice, which has been renewed.
