Description

No. 3 Milk Street is a house that is currently used as a shop. It dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century, but may have an earlier core. The building is constructed of painted brick and has a plain tiled roof. It has two storeys and features a four-window range. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door, with a blocked door and an inserted window to the right. To the left, there is a shop front that extends across the adjacent properties, Nos. 1 and 2. The upper windows are designed with mullions and transoms, and there is a string course above them. The building is topped with a deep moulded eaves cornice.
