GV II Former house. Early to mid C18. Brick with ashlar dressings; hipped tile roof with brick end stacks. Early Georgian style. Three storeys; symmetrical five window range. Cornice over first floor and top modillioned cornice. Entrance has doorcase with architrave with triple key, panelled pilaster strips and consoled pediment; paired two-panel doors. Two shop windows with panelled pilaster strips and consoled cornices, C20 glazing. First floor has windows with panelled sills and shaped aprons, and shaped lintels with keys and cornices over 6/9-pane sashes with thick glazing bars; attic storey has segmental-headed windows with similar lintels, with triple keys, and nine-pane sashes also with thick glazing bars.

INTERIOR has front room with end fireplaces, each with panelled pilasters and lintel with fluted key, breast with fluted angle pilasters; some tall fielded panelling with panelled dado rail; dogleg staircase has cut string with column-on-vase balusters and ramped handrail, dado panelling.
