Description
Dinham Lodge is a house built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a hipped plain tile roof with two brick central stacks. The building is symmetrical, standing three storeys high with a cellar, and has a five-window range. The windows are 6/6 sashes set beneath gauged brick flat arches, with 3/3 sashes above. A moulded stone cornice and parapet adorn the top of the structure.
The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with an ornamental fanlight, all framed in a round-headed panelled doorcase. This doorcase has a moulded architrave and is topped with a moulded wood flat hood that features a fluted frieze supported by moulded wood pilasters. On either side of the entrance are 6/6 sash windows. There is a painted stone storey band above the ground floor, and to the right of the main entrance, there is a six-panel door in a plain case beneath a brick arch, which leads to a passageway at the rear.
The left side of the building has three blind openings under gauged brick flat arches on each floor. At the rear, there is a small late 19th-century wing on the ground floor, which includes a tripartite central window with three plain sashes in moulded cases, along with additional sashes on either side.
